Guangzhou, China — The 136th Canton Fair, one of the world's largest trade expos, opened its doors from October 15 to November 4. Held across three phases, this event promises to showcase cutting-edge manufacturing, premium home living solutions, and a vision of a better life, reflecting a blend of high-quality exhibitions and advanced digital platforms.
Exhibition Quality Reaches New Heights
With a total exhibition area spanning over 1.55 million square meters, the fair boasts around 74,000 booths spread across 55 exhibition sections and 171 specialized zones. Each phase focuses on specific themes—Advanced Manufacturing (October 15-19), Quality Home Living (October 23-27), and Better Life (October 31-November 4).
Over 30,000 companies participate in the offline exhibition, including approximately 29,400 export-oriented businesses. Among them, nearly 4,600 are newcomers, while more than 8,000 hold prestigious titles such as National High-Tech Enterprises, Specialized & Innovative Small Giants, and Champions of Single Product Manufacturing Industries.
A Seamless Blend of Online and Offline Platforms
The online platform, operational throughout the event, features enhanced functionalities with 18 optimized features, introducing virtual digital avatars for the first time. This innovation complements the newly launched Guangzhou Trade Fair App, designed to facilitate seamless interaction between exhibitors and visitors.
Online participation reaches unprecedented levels, with about 48,000 companies uploading approximately 3.75 million items—a 60% increase in participating enterprises and a 50% surge in product listings compared to the previous session, setting new records.
